Thank you for coming to the site and reading the blog entries and taking a look at our catalogue, albeit small, since the company is so new. I wanted to post a few updates as to what is happening currently and for the rest of 2025.
We are continuing to try to cross-market with other small publishing houses as you may have noticed. We know that there is a hesitancy because many publishing houses want to only promote their own work. We don’t have a problem promoting others’ work and if any small publishing house wants to work together, please reach out.
We created the submissions page and have been happily reading query letters from across North America. It is a delight to read about everyone’s projects. We have received some help in this department by two organizations. Instantcoffee was happy to list us in its weekly emails across Canada and Poets & Writers also listed our company with the small press listings. We have received several query letters through that listing so far. We doubt both places will read this but we wanted to acknowledge the support anyway.
A Conversation in Pictures #3 by the Styrofoam Sandpaper Collective has been printed and listed on the site. It is its second printing. The first one was printed several years ago in a different format. It has been altered into a much more visually pleasing book. Another book entitled The Quiet Room by the same collective will also be reprinted in the coming months.
