Lost Telegram Press is now being advertised across the CBC Network. This includes CBC Gem (its streaming news site), as well as CBC Listen and the CBC home site. This decision to advertise with the CBC is an exciting step but came with some interesting roadblocks, not with the CBC, but with the changing world of advertising in general.
The Whistler, a bar, record label, gallery, and venue that hosts live music and DJs is going to be hosting our author Taylor Thornburg’s book launch on July 16th. It’s located at 2421 North Milwaukee Ave. in Chicago.
As of today, Lost Telegram Press has signed another author who is new to us but not new to the publishing market: John Biscello. John has a new novel manuscript that will require some different attention, being a layered, somewhat experimental novel. So we agreed that Lost Telegram Press was a fitting avenue for it. This is in part, due to his passion for small presses and independent publishing.

In the last few days a new author has joined the Lost Telegram Press list. He is from Chicago, Illinois and that is all I will tell you at the moment as he is preparing the words to introduce himself, which I will post here in the next few days
The Bookseller reported on Feb. 12 in an article by Heloise Wood, that a number of factors have been making it difficult for children’s bookshops in London to survive. Interestingly this is also a case where fixed book pricing (FBP), which I talked about here recently, could help.
