Taylor Thornburg‘s Agathe, 6:00 p.m. to 7:27 made issue 4 of Beyond The Last Estate recently. The magazine is a print-only literary arts magazine and the very generous review, published most graciously by the magazine, shows the strength of this novel.
It “spins grief out like a thread,” the review reads. “The work is thick and unapologetic, opaque in a singular focus that gains complexity as memories are prodded and ripped open at the seams, working backwards towards an unreachable past and forward toward an unviable future.”
