Cristina Deptula at Synchronized Chaos gave tombboy a raving review recently as she is well aware of the power of Mykyta Ryzhykh‘s poetry since he is a regular contributor to the online journal.
“Through repeated phrases, inverted words, special characters, checklists and tables, and italicized product specifications, Ryzhykh breaks language and meaning. He creates a mood of absurdity and confusion where we feel lost, without landscapes or place names or titles or even recognizable syntax to orient us,” she writes.
Mykyta is also a regular contributor to Blood Tree Literature, an indie literary project out of Canada and the U.S. It listed tombboy in the recent issue no. 17 as a way of purchasing books from the contributors.
A big thanks again goes out to Blood Tree Literature and Cristina Deptula at Synchronized Chaos for the help!
