In an ongoing effort to increase the capacity of the company and provide more opportunity for the authors, without sacrificing ethics, I was able to add many new distributors where, over the next week or so, all of the current text-based ebooks will be available.
It actually started with a common problem, and the very reason that I avoid doing business with Amazon at all costs. Some of the promotional efforts that I have been trying to secure for the writers hit a common roadblock: these sites need a link to buy the book and will not let me put this site. The only links usually available are Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Smashwords. Through a distribution network that started with Smashwords, I also added Vivlio, BorrowBox, Gardners, Odilo, Everand, Fable, cloudLibrary, Hoopla, Palace Marketplace, Barnes & Noble, Tolino, Apple and Baker & Taylor.
So as all of those new distributors are being added, authors and Lost Telegram Press are now able to leap over another Amazon hurdle that tries to put a stranglehold on the literary market. No one wants to become another Blockbuster because of Amazon.
Right on, Chris! For some reason, I can never “like’ these posts, as it shows a sad face when I try and “like.” Not sure why. But I’ve been following the dispatches and appreciate the news and updates.
Yeah, you would have to have an admin role on the site. I am not ready to manage that for everyone right now. I will try to find a solution in the future. You can always copy and paste to other platforms to share, or there are many other options for sharing. Sorry about that John.
No worries. Just making sure it wasn’t some glitch on my end. Thanks!
